The house
Wind and waves, sea air and beach, space and quiet. The house sits directly on the beach, its back against a forest whose paths lead across the Schusterkate border crossing to Kollund in Denmark.
Here the clocks tick differently.
Food tastes better here. Rough weather is a spectacle, sunshine an invitation to spend the whole day outdoors. Every glance into nature is rest.
A house with character
Creaking floorboards, winding corridors, rooms with their own view of the sea, each one different. The lounge with its panoramic windows invites you to stay, by day and in the evening. The house is run by Eicke Steinort, who trained here himself and took over his own former apprenticeship house in 2018, after eighteen years in leading international hotels.
Breakfast
We serve breakfast for our house guests. You will find the exact times when you book, or ask at reception – feel free to call us beforehand.
A bath for the senses
Out the front door to the beach, out the back door into the forest. Forest bathing, no swimsuit required and nothing gets wet. A walk among the trees is known to do you good – try it.
Green Option
From two nights onwards you can skip the daily room cleaning. You can opt out on the tablet in your room.
