Walking, cycling and golf
Nine hundred metres north a small bridge crosses the Kruså river and marks the westernmost point of the Baltic Sea. Within thirty kilometres there are five golf courses, three of them on the German side. Cyclists can choose between the Baltic Coast Cycle Route (452 km), the Danish Baltic Sea Route (800 km) and the Ochsenweg.
Flensburg and Denmark
Eight kilometres to Flensburg: the longest shopping street in Schleswig-Holstein, the Oluf-Samsons-Gang with its fishermen’s houses, the museum shipyard in the harbour. Germans and Danes are equally at home here. Large parts of Wassersleben belong to the Kluesrieser Gehölz conservation area.
